Haunting analogue jams and explorative psychedelic-pop atmospheres are what drive ANNANAN. The Berlin-based duo, consisting of Tom and Anne, boast a powerful but balanced introspective dialogue of sounds, structures and moods. Their latest single ‘Never Ever’ is no exception. Richly dark with its abrasive synths and industrial nuances, the release comes hand in hand with a raver-friendly “Pink Speed Mix”, a dose of post-punk in the “Body Mix” and a euphoric “L.F.T. Mix” for the techno lover inside of all of us – all of which can be enjoyed in full on October 24th, 2019 via Machine Jazz. Lead singer Anne explains the video as a, “Young, naive love faces the evil, dangerous closeness. Our slimy fantasy put those contrasts together. Pop influenced video-style meets the metaphorical aspects of affection, sexuality & confidence.” Because, who doesn’t love some latex on latex action?
