Berlin-based artist, musician, and vocalist ANYX is back with a stunning new visual and sonic offering. Today marks the official video premiere for “Window In Your Eyes,” the second single teasing her highly anticipated debut solo album, Starlink, dropping on August 28th via La Rubia Producciones.
Following the assertive grandeur of her first single, “Ladybirds Spine,” this new track pulls us into a world of delicate, taut tension. Built around sparse percussion and melodic arpeggios—initially on guitar before transitioning into a haunting harp arrangement—”Window In Your Eyes” shows a more fluid, expansive side of ANYX’s songwriting. It’s a track deeply rooted in texture, movement, and resonance.
Photo credit: Michaela Knizova“This song is special to me because it’s the first time I’ve included a harp in my music,” ANYX shares. “It brought a completely different energy for my voice to react to. The song really became a dialogue — almost a duet — between harp and voice.”
The accompanying music video, directed by Kurt Heuvens, beautifully translates this sonic dialogue into a striking visual landscape focused on the body, resonance, and transformation. Set against the vast, atmospheric horizon of the Wadden Sea, the visuals contrast raw physical performance with a ghostly, restless energy.
“For me, the kite in this video is a visual translation of the harp within the song — something fluid, restless and fast-moving, acting as a counterpart to the darker register of my voice,” ANYX explains. “A mercurial and strange companion, orbiting alone in this world we built for ourselves. Mirroring my own emotional states: Sometimes I’m strong, muscular and confident, moving through life with my wings spread wide, but then again I’m fragile, thin-skinned, glued to the ground.”
