Genre-defying sensation Baby Yors has once again blown us away with his latest music video for “Fortuna,” pulling audiences into a mesmerizing, hyper-real dimension that pushes the boundaries of pop production. As a huge fan of Baby’s work, I can’t help but marvel at how he seamlessly intertwines AI-generated visuals, robotic camera techniques, and dynamic choreography to craft an experimental experience that feels fresh and invigorating.
“Fortuna” comes hot on the heels of Baby’s previous video, “Red River Maria,” which impressively surpassed 1 million views on YouTube, proving his artistry resonates deeply with fans.

This track serves as a thrilling fusion of Argentine cumbia and hyper-pop, brilliantly penned and produced by Baby alongside Bram Inscore. It’s a commentary on Baby’s homeland of Argentina and its aspirations toward the economic allure of the U.S. “I wanted to explore the overproduced and glossy facade that America can project to the world,” he shares. “Visually, I aimed for something surreal—like we’re trapped in a trippy VHS tape—while also offering a glimpse into the future.”

“Fortuna” stands out as one of Baby’s most ambitious projects to date. Shot against a green screen with the aid of a robotic arm to capture his choreography and costume designs, the video’s initial intent to create 3D backgrounds faced a setback due to technical hiccups. This led Baby and his dedicated team on a year-long odyssey of creativity and experimentation, ultimately resulting in a fully AI-assisted reimagining of their imaginative vision.
“The reality is, AI technology had to catch up with my vision for the project,” Baby reflects. “At first, programs couldn’t reach what I wanted at all, but this is a technology that’s changing every day. As I kept experimenting, it improved, helping me craft the aesthetic I envisioned.”
Despite the challenges, creating the video demanded months of meticulous effort in digital refinement, including frame-by-frame cleanup.

“Anyone can make a fully generative AI video,” Baby asserts, “but this was more than a year of work across mediums. It stretched me creatively. The vision for ‘Fortuna’ always involved adding digital landscapes—from casinos and city streets to canyons and football fields—making AI just another tool in my arsenal. When used judiciously, it can provide artists with incredible opportunities for expansion. And I’m always expanding.”
“Fortuna” isn’t just a music video; it’s a bold statement from Baby Yors—an artist who is not afraid to challenge norms and embrace technology in the quest for artistic perfection.
