Video Premiere: Dance System – ‘Bring The Noise’

UK dance music visionary and party starter, Dance System (fka L-Vis 1990), announces forthcoming album In Your System – his debut LP under the moniker, due for release 1st April – with brand new single ‘Bring The Noise’, out via own imprint, System Records. A bass-laced filter house belter peppered with nostalgia-inducing old-skool vocals and chunky, driving kicks, lyrically ‘Bring The Noise’ is a cry for change in the music industry; sonically, it paves the way for the full forthcoming project. A heavy-hitting record with a powerful message, the single calls for change, while also nodding optimistically to possibilities of a new future for artists. Teaming up with Stockholm-based creative powerhouses Basskoster and BFF, the heady, laser-filled club-shot visuals shot in an iconic Berlin nightclub, depict a visceral late-night dystopian journey through an untamed hedonistic underworld, fuelled by sleepless delirium.

Bring the Noise is a call to arms for our generation. It’s time for us to start making more noise about the injustices we are facing every day. The British government is slowly destroying the UK, whilst having a party and good old laugh at us. Now is the time for us to unite and bring the noise and stop the violence against our generation and society.

BFF on the video: “Bring the Noise immerses the viewer into a psychedelic club scenario by means of visceral body performance. We wanted to convey that special energy of the club, and the tension release from losing yourself to the music.”

Following the glittering launch of System Records with 2020 rave tape, Where The Party At?, which saw Dance System enlist an all star line-up of dance music royalty as well as some of the hottest emerging artists in the world including UNIIQU3, DJ Deeon, Hudson Mohawke, A-Trak, India Jordan, Sally C, Cromby and many more. 2021 saw Dance System release a collab EP, Back To Business, with Mark Broom, ahead of All I Wanna Do in August 2021. In Your System is Dance System’s first full-length solo offering under the DS moniker. An all out homage to underground dance music culture, blending elements of classic, filter and piano house, hardcore, miami bass, acid techno and all that’s in between, the forthcoming album promises 11 tracks of pure dancefloor euphoria and starry-eyed love for the club. In his own words ‘In Your System’ is a product of all the dance music I have consumed after the last 22 years of being a DJ.”

Cementing his status over a decade ago as one half of seminal label Night Slugs as L-Vis 1990, releasing on ground-breaking labels including Night Slugs, Warp, Mad Decent, Monkeytown and many more, while counting top-tier tastemakers including Fact, DAZED, DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, Highsnobiety, FADER, amongst a wealth of global fans; the rebirth as Dance System and conception of System Records came in 2020, created to become a home for sound he felt didn’t fit anywhere else. Garnering widespread support launching System Records in 2020 with sensational multi-artist mixtape ‘Where The Party At’ from the likes of FACT, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Beatportal, BBC R1, Rinse FM, Annie Mac, Danny Howard, Jaguar, Sarah Story, Tom Ravenscroft, Jamz Supernova, Pete Tong, and many more, In Your System comes following recent releases from Mark Broom, Black Girl/White Girl, Yves Tomas, His Majesty Andre, and most recently, Northern Irish legend, Jordan Nocturne, on the imprint. Championing artists across the world, Dance System’s appetite to celebrate dance music culture and bring pure joy to club music is insatiable.
