Producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Elderbrook releases his new single ‘Good Times’, from his highly anticipated ‘Talking’ EP which was released September 1st. Following on from ‘Woman’, the EP’s first full-length production, ‘Good Times’ adopts a deep melodic beat, full of the rich tones that have influenced Alexander Kotz over the course of his career so far. A collaboration with multi-platinum selling British producer and songwriter Starsmith, the release uses upbeat keys and an interjected vocal chorus to deliver a wonderfully polished catchy house production. “In this video we depicted the evolution of a relationship from infatuation, tenderness, separation and finally reconciliation through the medium of dance.” – 41Blackford (Director)
Good Times is one of the first songs I’ve written that has such a ‘feel good’ energy. It works well with the story of the lyrics. I had the idea for the line “Good times will roll when I get home, I’ll call you up and let you know” for a really long time and, once I wrote it down, I let the idea of that phrase dictate the rest of the story about two people reconnecting.
