I felt I had lots of phrases saved up in my head that I couldn’t wait to put into my lyrics. The EP explores themes of acceptance toward those who have hurt you in the past, letting go of doubt, and embracing freedom. Performing these songs live this summer has been incredibly refreshing, and I still feel a deep connection to many of the lyrics, which makes it a therapeutic experience. Working with Alan Moulder on recording the EP was amazing; he was so receptive to our ideas and helped bring our vision to life.”
