Contemporary, electro-pop artist K¥LO drops visuals for her latest track ‘Sometimes’ in collaboration with La Belle Musique Records. Masked in a dusky purple hue, the clip follows our lead protagonist as she wanders aimlessly deep in thought. “I wanted this video to be really simple and to the point” explains the Torontonian, “It represents how I felt at the time – stuck and lost in a relationship and the lead up to how I got out of it and became essentially reborn”
“It is a pretty simple concept…”roaming around in the underworld (the subway) representing her feelings of being stuck in a relationship/lost and then being transformed/reborn (flash to outside) where she is freed and has left the relationship to be independent and have a new life.”
K¥LO makes experimental electronic-pop in the city of Toronto. Growing up involved with different types of music, she decided to move to Toronto and focus on the electronic sound. She dropped her sophomore EP PHASES in 2016, and since then has played various venues around Canada with a unique, interactive live set. She continues to write & record with a variety of producers. Her latest single ‘Sometimes’ is available now.
