KALTBLUT is presenting the video for the first official single taken from Kapnorths album Dematerealize! Out on May 1st. Kapnorth is a Swiss Art-Pop band, memebers are Elia Lobina, Marius Disler, Jonas Beetschen and David Buntschu. The album Dematerealize contains of 10 songs. Each song is accompanied by a video, each one created by a video artist. All videos combined will be shown as an art movie in several cinemas in Switzerland on September 20th.
Dematerealize deals with materialism and the presence of emotions in life in a changing world. It’s a musical journey from the present, the awareness of a need for change, to the chaotic attempt to pursue personal happiness, to the eventual achievement of success. In every aspect the album is a plea to society.

ABOUT KAPNORTH
After releasing their debut album Thunder Lightning Storm 3 years ago, the three youngsters from Luzern are going on a new musical journey with their second record which will be released on 1 May on their own label Petite Machine Agency.
Named Dematerialize, Kapnorth’s second album includes 10 new tracks which were produced in their hometown by Lo-Fi mastermind Timo Keller. The album title is based on profound thoughts and existentialist questions the band wants to convey not only musically. The same-titled film – a collection of 10 video features – will be screened in various cinemas across Switzerland in autumn 2016.
In its entity Dematerialize combines spherical Indie-Rock, melancholic piano patterns, driving rhythms and jazzy interludes. From this depth of experimental soundscapes emerges the unique voice of Elia Lobinas, which often reminds of the early productions of Cold War Kids and Arcade Fire. Both musically and onstage the band wants incarnate empathy and share experiences and thoughts with their audience.
