Video Premiere: Leyendekker – ‘Thankless’

The newcomer South East London band that will stop you in your tracks and send you spiralling into an internet click frenzy, with thoughts of “how have I never heard of this band before?” and “when is their next show?” just dropped the music video for their deep and pumping prog-pop track – ‘Thankless’.

Calum Duncan (vocals/guitar), Avi Barath (keyboards), Joss Brightwell (bass/keyboards) and Jonny Coote (drums), originally found each other through their mutual love of both the underground club scene and visceral, guitar-based music. Since then they have plunged head-on into the next gen D.I.Y movement of music making; combining analog effects with synthesizer drool factor. The results speak clearly for themselves with music that will make you wanna move and add to all of your playlists. If you like Massive Attack or think Radiohead are pretty great, then Leyendekker will definitely make you tingle with anticipation. An impressive young team of techs and musicians who are raising the bar for up and comers and setting themselves apart as the ones to watch.
