Video Premiere: Symbion Project – Arcadian

Having just released his brand new ‘Halcyon’ EP, Seattle indie-electronic act Symbion Project presents his latest video for ‘Arcadian’. Directed by Sherif Reindorf Alabede, the video is a heavy political statement that seems pretty fitting for these trying times. Featuring choreography and dancing from Marcos Aguirre, a prison is utilized as the backdrop for a narrative that hinges on visuals regarding fantasy and escapism. Check out the Andrea Sastoque and Ariel Navarrete production below.

Symbion Project recently released their album Arcadian, which features guests Briana Marela (Amiina, múm collaborator on Jagjaguwar), Seattle’s Jenni Potts (most recently heard on Odesza’s “White Lies”), Finnish singer Markus Junnikkala (from the band MY), and Melissa R Kaplan (Splashdown) amongst others. Symbion Project’s new Halcyon EP is out now.
