For his second single „All Alone“ he took his inspiration from his old school Synth pop and Goth idols Depeche Mode and The Sisters Of Mercy and his love for Peaches. The EP includes remixes from Vive La Fete, Phaszed and Parnix. He collaborated with Mariann Rosa, lead singer of famous Trash Pop band Surferosa, who has seen a huge hype for her solo efforts in Norway displaying her eclectic style and as a judge in the Norwegian version of ‘Pop Idol’.

Producer is London based Richard Frennaux (known as songwriter / frontman of Red Light Company) who has been working on producing for artists such as Laura Welsh and Natasha Bedingfield.

RAY NOIR has been a stable fixture in the London Club Scene for a few years. The hectic, dangerous, unique city provides the perfect backdrop for his disruptive style and daring music. He’s become well-known in fashion and DJ circles and is an instantly recognisable face on London’s gritty and burgeoning club scene. Ray’s smokily sexy look are mirrored in his music: different, defiant and original.“I wanna do music that is catchy but with an edge,” says Ray “As an artist I’m here to entertain people and give them a show.

Ray grew up in the comparatively tranquil climes of Norway, travelling through cities like Oslo and Paris before settling in London. He has always been massively influenced by the metal, industrial and rock movements, cutting his teeth on artists like Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. Striking out on his own at just fifteen, he surrounded himself with like-minded people and environments.

By eighteen he was working in Bodymap in Oslo, a notorious emporium of cult trinkets, frequented by some of Scandinavia’s best-regarded rock and metal elite. This is where he met the bands that would inspire him to start doing music. He went on tour as a crew member with bands like Gothminister, Mortiis, Theatre of Tragedy and Lacrimosa around Europe, UK and Scandinavia.

Ray started as a DJ, but always wanted to make his own music. After meeting Frankmusik at a party in London, the two collaborated in the studio, and birthed Ray’s first hit, punk/industrial stomper ‘Double Trouble’. It was released on Frankmusik’s label VDI records in late 2014, to critical success from publications like Esquire Magazine, Gay Times, and perezhilton.com, as well as international attention from South Korea to Colombia. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is a big fan of Ray Noir. The song charted at the German Alternative Charts & the Digital Hoarders Club Mix entered the international House Charts at number 1.
