Diego Reindel is half German, half Spanish and was born in Bonn 1995. He is studying Photodesign in Munich since 2015. Right now he is focusing on fashion photography, loves playing with light, shapes and colours. He has always been interested in art and is focusing on photography now, starting to tell stories and myths. Diego went to Barcelona to work in a Studio (BarcelonaStudios) and got to know Stylist Alex Montoya, assistant of the contributing fashion editor of german Vogue Claudia Englmann, a perfect connection to start a project together. Since Diego went to Barcelona he always had this building, “Waden 7”, in mind. After meeting Alex they started to create a story around this building. After some research they found out that the building was designed by the famous Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill in the mid 70s as a recreation centre. As the 70s are the times of change in their “Walden 70s” story a girl comes out of a depression, finding herself in this beautiful building starting from the bottom and ending on the top of the building. All this is reflected in her style, from the disorientation at the beginning up to finding her style at the end.
