A KALTBLUT exclusive. ’To the Beyond’ is the final instalment of an independent fashion & art project created and photographed by Marc Haers. Travelling to Iceland with his team, Marc wanted to capture the isolation and harshness of the island. A feeling he had felt strongly after dealing with a sudden loss. The imagery also speaks to the hardships in life we all deal with as human beings and how working through things together can make the most challenging times easier. Marc attempts to transform trauma and pain by infusing it with beauty, fashion, art and creativity, ultimately resulting in a fantastical yet honest story.
