1400 Ultra: A Techno-Renaissance Ergot Poisoning Dream

A KALTBLUT exclusive by Santiago Montoya, fashion photographer, creative director, and visual artist based in Medellín, Colombia. The model is Andrew Vlaz. “A polymath by nature: I move fluidly between photography, art direction, styling, digital art, and cultural critique, because I’ve never believed that a strong creative vision should fit inside a single discipline.”

“My work lives at the intersection of fashion, science, geopolitics, and social commentary, a territory I call Psychorealism: the point where fashion photography stops decorating the world and starts interrogating it. I’m drawn to the uncomfortable, the rejected, the misunderstood. I find the most compelling images where others look away.

I work with bodies that carry stories the industry usually edits out. I collaborate with emerging Colombian designers who deserve a global stage. And I treat every editorial as a cultural argument, one that has something to say about identity, diversity, power, and what it means to be Latin American in a world that’s rapidly rewriting its own rules.

The editorial 1400 Ultra: A Techno-Renaissance Ergot Poisoning Dream is a celebration of freedom and radical identity. A visual declaration against everything that tries to suppress what a diverse, evolved society has already become.”
