They not only allow me to share my own narrative but also tell the stories of those who helped me along the way. My work is rooted in my struggles as a queer person and the inspirations I draw from my community. My sole aim is to share that freedom with as many people as possible. The essence of Jonni Boi lies in a desire to spread joy, rebel, and live authentically and unapologetically. Jonni Boi is a platform that encourages fantastical self-expression.
This collection is a celebration of some of my favourite queer and camp references relating to pop culture. Each look is inspired by a video game or cartoon character that shaped my queer experience while growing up.”
