A captivating video sets the scene, taking us to the vibrant streets of Berlin. As the camera pans, we find ourselves immersed in the world of Impari. A model gracefully moves through rows of old beverage crates, creating a choreography of movement within the walls of the captivating “Freiraum in der Box” museum. The anticipation builds as a second model enters, carrying an oversized bag overflowing with plastic waste. Taking a seat among the audience, they become a spectator, ready to be captivated by what’s to come.
The show bursts into life with atmospheric, rhythmic music, perfectly complementing the expressive and energetic looks that grace the runway. Impari’s renowned creativity takes centre stage, as an endless kaleidoscope of colours and bold prints dance before our eyes. The SS24 collection showcases the brand’s expertise in self-created prints and innovative material combinations.
Diversity is celebrated not only in the designs but also in the model cast. Recycled PET mesh, crafted from plastic bottles, becomes a canvas for intricate patterns of swirls, waves, and chains. Revealing glimpses of bare skin, the transparent material adorns cropped tops and dresses with high slits, adding an element of sensuality.
The designs are elevated with exquisite details, with ruching embellishing sleeves, hems, and necklines. Prints and materials are expertly combined in a stunning patchwork style, pushing the boundaries of pattern mixing to new heights. Imagine flowing fabric pants, reminiscent of scales, paired with a form-fitting top adorned with an artful print of waves and swirls.
