PERLENSAU presented its new collection, GEOMETRY OF THE FUTURE, during Berlin Fashion Week, marking a milestone celebration of 10 years spent pushing the boundaries between craftsmanship, innovation, and avant-garde design. Staged inside Bar TAUSEND, one of Berlin’s most iconic underground venues, the space provided the natural habitat for the presentation, with its industrial architecture, raw atmosphere, and distinct subcultural spirit complementing the label’s vision.

The collection itself serves as a technical exploration into the intersection of futuristic design, precision engineering, and wearable art. Utilising advanced laser-cutting technology, PERLENSAU transformed organic leather and innovative materials into sharp, sculptural silhouettes defined by intricate geometric patterns and architectural forms. These precision-cut details created an intentional dialogue between light, shadow, and bodily movement, giving each piece a dynamic presence on the runway.

By merging traditional craftsmanship with digital fabrication, the garments successfully balance a futuristic aesthetic with a timeless quality. The entire presentation was realised as an immersive experience, combining electronic music, live performance, and precise staging to merge fashion, technology, and Berlin’s creative underground into a cohesive showcase.
Documenting the technical execution, complex material textures, and mood of the presentation from behind the scenes, photographer Shin Jeong Hoon was on hand to capture the collection up close. His backstage photography provides a thorough, professional look at the intricate laser-cut leatherwork, structural elements, and pre-show preparations, offering a complete perspective on this anniversary presentation.
