This latest event promises a captivating blend of emerging voices shaping today’s indie soundscape, delivering an eclectic experience for music lovers of all stripes.
Credit – Charlie & CharlieMan/Woman/Chainsaw is primed to take the stage, showcasing their unique blend of post-punk and art-rock influences. Described by Rolling Stone as “a young band in the process of inventing something ecstatically new,” this close-knit group—formed when core members Billy Ward and Vera Leppänen were just 16—has taken the UK’s alternative scene by storm. With their much-anticipated debut EP, “Eazy Peazy,” set to drop in 2024 under the indie bastion Fat Possum Records, and their debut album “Cannonball” scheduled for an August 7 release, this is a performance you won’t want to miss!
Next up, we have Meagre Martin, a synergy of three international musicians crafting a fresh mix of Americana, indie rock, and “faux-country” right from the heart of Berlin. Their critically acclaimed debut album, Gut Punch, launched in November 2023 and was quickly followed by a string of new singles and an EP, Up To Snuff, coming in February 2025. With previous support slots for heavyweights like Alt-J and Chastity Belt, they’ve already made waves at festivals across Europe.
Rounding out the night is ULEX, a young quartet hailing from Compostela, igniting the scene with their vibrant and raw take on rock music infused with cumbia grooves. Since their inception in September 2022, they’ve tapped into the spirit of Galician youth, drawing inspiration from local legends to shape their unique sound.
