This was a collaborated with The Guild group @guildafrica in their new flagship gallery In the Silo district in Cape Town foundered by art gurus the very clever Trevyn and Julian McGowen, I was mesmerized by the Concrete sunglasses showcased in the gallery designed by 20eight. I wanted to bring elements of hard and soft textures of the concrete 20eight glasses, against my own vision of hard and soft textures with wire garlands I made from Victorian goose eggs and styled with vintage Issey Miyake. The 20eight sunglasses are limited to a 100 individually numbered pairs per design. The Models are no signed models but young Cape Town artists.”
