Designer EIRINN HAYHOW shares her latest campaign TREE PEOPLE for F/W23 with us. EIRINN HAYHOW is a sustainable, genderless clothing brand, making high fashion garments from waste material and a natural fibres. The campaign is sponsored by LUSH and UGG.

“I create all my own dyes, mainly seasonally, from foraging plants and berries locally and using fruit and vegetable waste to create my colour palettes. I use mainly natural fibers in production and I am 100% sustainable.”
The Trees are alive.
And they keep us alive by providing oxygen.
They are vital to the survival of our planet.
Trees pump water like blood through their circulatory system.
Their roots are hyper sensitive, brain-like structures that can feel, taste and travel.
Do trees communicate to one another through energy?
Can we find a way to tune in to their frequency and listen to the sounds of the forest?
What have we done to the earth?
Deforestation is happening globally.
We are losing the ancient growth forests.
And now trees are planted carelessly in the wrong environments and pushing out wildlife We must learn to understand nature’s language.
EIRINN HAYHOW walks us deep amongst the trees, where we can listen to the heartbeat of the forest. We are tree people, and our bond with nature can not be broken. Her beautiful genderless collection consists of a combination of salvaged and sustainable materials, using natural dyes from different types of plants and barks. This season EIRINN HAYHOW introduces her own grown biomaterials. Plant leathers she has grown from food waste and foraged plants.
