“I wanted to capture the natural movement and flow of Victor’s garments and the models’ bodies in relation to their surroundings, making all 3 elements seem as if designed to coexist from the start. Besides body movement, the eyes played a key role: they express profoundly in every photo, even when closed, adding to the editorial’s ethereal, fantasy-like, and enthralling tenor. The sky, the Barcelona skyline, and the Barcelona Edition Hotel’s spaces, patterns, and details served as background and complements.
I wanted the eyes to express a lot, even if they were closed.”
