Fiction 21 steps into Keanu Reeves shoes and translates the idea behind the 90s cyberpunk classic film “ The Matrix ” into a fictionalised modern-day setting. Exploring how it feels to live in a dystopian world that has become increasingly digital, and less human every day. In the light of recent global events, our protagonists experience feelings of uncertainty, loneliness, restlessness and the overall desire for a brighter future. Fiction 21 also sheds light on the importance of reliance and togetherness in the unprecedented times that we currently find ourselves in.
“My name is Ally Lux and I am a London-based stylist and creative director. I was born and have been living in Germany until I made the decision to move to London to pursue my passions. The main source of inspiration behind my work is my surroundings, feelings that have been experienced or witnessed, and most importantly the people in my life. As a queer-identifying woman in modern society, I am forever struck and inspired by the unafraid – ness of the incredible individuals within our community and their restless fight against inequality of any kind.”
