MODALISBOA COMUNIDADE – Polimoda presents a fashion movie set in Florence, sharing the creative journey behind the collections of 20 young fashion designers and aiming towards a new Renaissance. 20 young designers at the end of an atypical year, 20 collections that convey the complexity of this moment in history and 20 iconic locations in a city that will once again become the heart of a new beginning and a contemporary Renaissance.
These are the building blocks of Human Poetics, the first fashion movie ever made by Polimoda and a celebration of creative energy with an unmistakable message of rebirth. “Human Poetics is an exploration of space through the body. The creative process takes centre stage, restoring harmony and unifying art, nature and architecture,” explains new Polimoda director and project curator Massimiliano Giornetti.

“This Fashion Movie is about images that blend and overlap, expressing the fears, aspirations, emotions and visions of a brilliant generation of young designers grappling with the aesthetics of a new decade at a fast pace,” explains Director Massimiliano Giornetti.
“It is a dialogue between heritage, present, future, technology and craftsmanship, binding it all together in an unprecedented message and giving life to a unique project that is human-centric and innovative.” Polimoda is sharing this unique experience with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, uniting people from all over the world with the sensations only fashion is able to convey.
