LI-NING Spring/Summer 2024 – MY-VERSE

Li-Ning, China’s premier sports pioneer, made its highly anticipated return to the Paris Men’s Fashion Week on June 20 with an explosive and dynamic showcase. The event featured an array of mesmerizing experiences including an impressive video installation art, a live kung fu dance performance, and a Spring/Summer 2024 runway show that left everyone in awe.

The finale performance by American artist Offset, who rocked Li-Ning head to toe while performing his hit single “Ric Flair Drip,” was the cherry on top of an already amazing showcase. Li-Ning presented a directional global edit of its premium street and style collections for men and women, including clothing, footwear, and accessories.

The Spring/Summer 2024 collection took inspiration from Li-Ning’s legacy of fearless innovation and boundary-breaking athletic design. The collection showcased archetypes of the Li-Ning man and woman, featuring the skater, the gamer, the athlete, and the cool kid, through a hazy, throwback lens. This homage to past decades while looking to the future made for a unique show.

Li-Ning’s collaboration with Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan brought Kung Fu-inspired pieces to the forefront, while the brand’s upcoming exclusive partnership with Steven Harrington, a Los Angeles-based artist known for his psychedelic-pop aesthetic, brought a fresh perspective to the runway.

The brand also showcased select pieces from “Newtro,” an iconic archival collection reimagined for today, which included stylish technical jackets, tops, dresses, and shorts featuring contrasting cut-outs for both men and women.

Overall, the show was a celebration of Li-Ning’s impressive heritage and innovative spirit, and we can’t wait to see more from the brand in the future.
