Luca Cantarelli’s FIERCE Collection Celebrates Ageless Beauty

The new capsule collection from Luca Cantarelli invites us all to embrace our personal journeys and the signs of the time that shape us. The genderless collection features five unique pieces that blend distinctive elements with an interplay of volumes and lines. Each piece is crafted with 925 silver, natural stones, and coloured enamels that create looks that are as spontaneous as they are rigorous.

However, the FIERCE chevalier ring stands as the most iconic piece in the collection. The bold design reaches upwards, like a podium, while the central band of enamels divides the ring into two identical halves, mirroring one another. The side stones, aligned in a degradé, evoke the classic hourglass, reminding us all of the perpetual passing of time.

But what is an age without experience? The campaign images, taken with groups of the designer’s friends aged from forty to seventy, showcase the collection’s purpose: to celebrate ourselves at any age. And with its unique blend of natural stones, coloured enamels, and silver, Luca Cantarelli’s FIERCE collection captures the essence of ageless beauty.

Luca Cantarelli: The Rising Star of Italian Jewelry Design

Luca Cantarelli, the Italian jewellery designer, best known for his FIERCE collection, was born and raised in Sardinia, surrounded by a family of artists, including painters, writers, and musicians. His passion for beauty and, more specifically, for design was ignited at the age of 18 while attending the University of Cagliari.

Inspired by comics and pop culture, he developed a unique, vibrant style that caught the attention of the fashion industry. After obtaining a law degree, Luca decided to pursue his passion and entered the world of fashion in 2012. He quickly gained experience working with well-known brands, building core competencies and valuable connections within the industry.

In 2017, Luca focused on jewellery design and helped to rebrand a well-known Milanese designer. However, it wasn’t until the 2020 lockdown that Luca had the opportunity to design his own collection of genuine silver and natural stones. This was the birth of the Luca Cantarelli brand, which has disrupted traditional standards by incorporating street style and sportswear elements. The pieces marry true Italian craftsmanship with young, trendy lines, setting the brand apart from other Italian jewellery designers.

Luca has been recognized internationally with his work featured in Amica, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, i-D, IlSole24Ore, Manintown, Marieclaire, NSS, l’Officiel, Pambianco, Style Magazine, Vanity Fair, Vice, Vogue, and WWD. Luca Cantarelli is without a doubt one of the rising stars of Italian jewellery design and his talent continues to shine with each new collection.
