A KALTLBUT Exclusive editorial. Maciej Knas is a photographer based in Warsaw. “Modern Romanticism” is an editorial focusing on textures and the border between what is archaic and contemporary. The team wanted to recreate the atmosphere of XVIII century paintings such as the ones by Francisco Goya and Johann Heinrich Fussli adding a more abstract look to them. On the other side, Maciej Knas and stylist Karol Niwinski aimed to create a contrast with modern elements such as a spatial constructions and metal elements. They tried to connect them and achieve a complete, cohesive picture while showing our internal feelings. Model is Yegor Guzovski.
