In cooperation with Artist Mod Sun, also known under the name “Modern Sunshine”, the iconic Californian skate and lifestyle brand SUPRA launches a new and exclusive design combining a real skate classic with modern art.
The unique, minimalistic and at the same time colourful design makes for SUPRA’s most exciting and artistic collaboration to date: the musician, poet, painter and writer Mod Sun wraps SUPRA’s low top sneaker silhouette “Cobalt” in his own designs and creates his very own artwork for the feet.
In addition to skate shoes, the artist also created T-shirts with pop art inspired tributes to Basquiat and Warhol, which simultaneously act as a declaration of love to SUPRA and his pro skater Chad Muska. According to the motto “Fans will be friends” Mod Sun gives everyone the chance to be part of his first streetwear collaboration with his exclusive collection.
