Mutatio explores the hybridisation between the human being and three fundamental animals of the rural world: the sheep, the cow, and the horse. This new hybrid figure, superior yet strictly necessary, embodies labour, survival, and the relationship with the ancestral.
These life forms, despite being superior to us, are confined and forced into an almost aseptic space, deprived of nearly every element. Will they experience emotions similar to those of humans, or will the restless instinct of the animal come into play?
