Namilia Spring/Summer 2025

The buzz around Berlin Fashion Week reached a fever pitch on Wednesday evening as Namilia’s show drew an impressive crowd. Nearly 600 exuberant guests—including fans, ravers, queer style icons, and content creators—flocked to “The Tunnel” at Potsdamer Platz subway station. Attendees, many dazzlingly draped in Namilia’s audacious designs, were treated to a thrilling display of the brand’s ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ collection.

Design duo Emilia Pfohl and Nan Li captivated the audience with flamboyant looks on the longest, most vibrant runway of the week. The collaboration with the 2000s cult favourite Ed Hardy elevated the show to an unforgettable crescendo of pop culture and provocation.

From ultra-mini skirts to bold fake-fur coats, the collection dazzled with bright pink leather ensembles and sultry ball gowns enriched with trademark provocative messages. Think rhinestone-studded tops boasting slogans like “Fashion Victim” and “I Love Ozempic,” alongside reimagined Ed Hardy classics. Since bursting onto the scene in 2015, Namilia has captured the youthful spirit, enthralling a predominantly under-35 audience with its high-quality, yet accessible, concept-driven pieces.

“‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ delves into the lifecycle of fame, examining the pop cultural zeitgeist of the 00s and early 2010s. This Era, notorious for its paparazzi flashbulbs and vicious tabloids, is reimagined through a couture lens,” the designers shared. “Our partnership with Ed Hardy breathes new life into archive pieces, crafting couture gowns and elevated streetwear imbued with handmade embroidery and exquisite tailoring. The collection critiques societal pressures and the cyclical, often brutal, nature of fame—where every individual, particularly women, is scrutinized and judged under an unforgiving spotlight. For the first time, we’ve incorporated upcycling, using deadstock Ed Hardy items and vintage garments to challenge and reflect upon these cultural dynamics.”
