A KALTBLUT Magazine exclusive! We talk to Melchor Mercado, Addis Miller and Danny Willams in this months NEVS special Obsessed with. Shot and interviewed by Karl Slater for KALTBLUT we learn a little about the personalities behind the beautiful faces in the UK modelling world.
Name: Addis Miller @ NEVS
KALTBLUT: How were you discovered?
Addis Miller: I was discovered by my now mother agent on oxford street, I was on my phone and I heard ‘ have you ever thought of doing modelling’, from out of nowhere and the rest is history.
KALTBLUT: What has been the high light to you career so far?
Addis Miller: Shooting with Calvin Klein, this is because when I was younger I went on a lads holiday and we all lied to girls about what our jobs were. Some chose to be footballers, I chose to be a Calvin Klein model, so to actually model for them was a nice achievement ;)
KALTBLUT: Whats the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Addis Miller: Be you, cause no one can do that better.
KALTBLUT: What item of clothing could you not live without?
Addis Miller: A hat cause it changes your outfit, hide from people and if you look rough it makes you instantly look better.
KALTBLUT: What superpower would you love to have for 24 hours?
Addis Miller: See into the future.
KALTBLUT: If you only had £10 left in your pocket what would you spend it on?
Addis Miller: £10 easy gym day pass.
KALTBLUT: Which flavour of ice cream best describes your personality?
Addis Miller: Raspberry ripple ice cream, cause just when you think it couldn’t get better, until you get a spoonful of raspberry and then you understand why everyone says its the best.

KALTBLUT: How were you discovered?
Danny Willams: I met my agent on Instagram, he took me to see nevs where I met Paul and and that’s how it all started really!
KALTBLUT: What has been the high light to you career so far?
Danny Willams: Difficult question as I’ve not been modelling for long. I would have to say when I got to wear Burberry for Lewis magazine that was a really good day with great people!
KALTBLUT: Whats the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Danny Willams: No one can be a better version of yourself than you, so don’t try and be someone else, or compare yourself to others – MUM ❤️
KALTBLUT: What item of clothing could you not live without?
Danny Willams: Underwear
KALTBLUT: What superpower would you love to have for 24 hours?
Danny Willams: If I could have any superpower it would definitely be to fly! Flying around London to jobs, no sweaty tubes or queuing.. it’s the dream!
KALTBLUT: If you only had £10 left in your pocket what would you spend it on?
Danny Willams: A slice of pizza and a beer!
KALTBLUT: Which flavour of ice cream best describes your personality?
Danny Willams: Has to be chocolate, doesn’t it?

KALTBLUT: How were you discovered?
Melchor Mercado: My representative looked at the zoo one day and saw me among the monkeys… No, actually I was discovered by Instagram, by the director of DHR Models, an agency in Buenos Aires. A great team with a great Director that today is part of my family.
KALTBLUT: What has been the high light to you career so far?
Melchor Mercado: Having made a commercial for Nike through a NewYork agency. (NewYorkModelsManagement). After that a lot of agency started to call me but none of them took it seriously. Until one day Paul, director of Nevs, welcomed me into his London house. That, was and is for me, a gesture of which I will always be grateful. My career in London has opened thousands of doors and I have met wonderful people and traveled to the main fashion capitals. Something that two years ago, was only a dream.
KALTBLUT: Whats the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Melchor Mercado: Probably a phrase from my mom -Wherever you go, always do your best.
My life is based on that phrase, no matter what, no matter where, no matter when, you always have to give your best. So be it in a campaign or queuing in a supermarket, do your best… well not so much, but you got the idea.
KALTBLUT: What item of clothing could you not live without?
Melchor Mercado: My black belt. indispensably important. And it is black, so it combines with everything.
KALTBLUT: What superpower would you love to have for 24 hours?
Melchor Mercado: Teleportation to be able to reach all my castings on time. Really.
KALTBLUT: If you only had £10 left in your pocket what would you spend it on?
Melchor Mercado: In Oreos obviously. What question is that?
KALTBLUT: Which flavour of ice cream best describes your personality?
Melchor Mercado: Dulce de leche granizado. It is an Argentinian ice cream taste. Sweet on the outside, but inside it is crispy and sometimes those pieces of chocolate are hard to chew.
