British born fine-artist and designer Patrick Church launches their first interior collection this Friday, November 29, 2021. This new collection includes one of a kind handcrafted ceramics, embroidered pillows, throw blankets and a bespoke service for custom murals and furniture.
Even early as an artist, I painted compulsively. When I didn’t have canvases, which happened a lot early on, I would paint on anything. Walls, furniture, clothing, objects, anything. Even now, a big part of my inspiration as an artist comes from a need to be enveloped by my work. I love transformation, creating something joyful from something unnoticed. The translation of paintings onto clothing has always been about extracting something joyful from something functional. I have loved moving as an artist into ready-to-wear but I needed to carve out more space to work with my hands, and paint on a large scale. This is really where the idea of ‘Patrick Church Studio’ came from. Decor has always been a part of my personal process but launching a permanent home collection gives me the chance to follow my inspirations more feely. There is an entire universe I have created for myself. I can’t wait to share more of it.
