“My name is Rikko Oliveira, I am 29 years old and I’m a Brazilian fashion photographer based in Brasilândia, São Paulo. I started in fashion photography at the middle of my graduation in marketing and advertising in 2014, when I started a course focused on fashion editorial. Then I decided to leave my marketing internship at a multinational company to dedicate myself full time to study photography, fashion and art.
Since then I have contributed and got my work published in some national and international magazines like Vogue Itália, L’Officiel, Amuse Mag, Vulkan and Mob Journal. My motivation in fashion photography is the capacity to transport ideas to fisical images. The possibility to represent and express things that I feel as a person who was raised seeing the opposite side of glamour. So I like to create narratives and imagine stories that can transport ourselves to a different reality.
So this material is a projection of a concept about masculinity, which is a man who can bring color into a dark scene. A man who can feel free to express himself and wear whatever he wants.”
