“We carried through “Primrose” before the whole pandemic broke out merely intending to welcome spring. During this season of the year, nature gives us entirely its splendour and through the flowers it transmits all its colour. But as the days went by and our priorities suddenly changed this project took on another character.
As a photographer, we constantly express something of our own in every job. Flowers are, for example, a recurring theme in my work but now they acquire a tremendously significant meaning since they have made me take refuge and remember what really matters in life. That’s why I wanted to include the red carnations which have consistently remind me my grandmother, a strong, brave and smiling woman with the most sincere and generous heart have ever known. Hope this year primrose allows people grown like flowers because today more than ever it represents the rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal and creative growth of the world.!”
