A KALTBLUT exclusive womenswear fashion editorial. Photograper Mari Hagger styled and captured Samara Martins signed to Wilhemina NY and Full Circle SA for us. Hair and make up by Niki Vos.Location was the side of Table Mountain in Cape Town which recently burnt furiously all night from an arson incident. The trees and bushes remained strong but burnt blacker than black and orange flower buds began to regrow. The shoot day was incredibly windy and within 2 hours we were all covered in ash! Makeup artist Niki Vos (from Amsterdam) was inspired after a hike up to the location and ideas from Africa Burn, the autumnal burnt colours and used parts of our surrounding foliage to add to the makeup.
