International light artist Christopher Bauder presents his latest and most intimate artwork, VEKTOR, at the iconic Kraftwerk Berlin. This immersive audiovisual spectacle interweaves the kinetic energy of 50 dynamic lasers with a three-dimensional soundscape composed by Bauder himself. It’s an abstract exploration of the artist’s life experiences transformed into a multisensory exhibition. The setup engulfs attendees in an enthralling fusion of sound and visuals, further solidifying Kraftwerk Berlin as Bauder’s venue of choice, following the success of previous installations SKALAR and DEEP WEB.
VEKTOR unfolds in two distinct experiences: a continuous exhibition and a series of live performances. The ongoing exhibition serves as an introspective space where time blurs, allowing visitors to meander, repose, and disconnect from the external environment in a mindful journey through a topography of light, movement, and sound.
Highlighted by exclusive live performances, Christopher Bauder amplifies VEKTOR with guest musicians to promise an expanded narrative structure reminiscent of a concert. In these performances, Bauder manipulatively orchestrates the audiovisual elements with precision, ensuring each show’s uniqueness.
