“In most of the fictional worlds that I watched or read as a child men were the main characters. On the other hand, the female characters felt flat or unreal and remained in the background, often being a vague projection of the masculine desires of the protagonist or the author himself. In this project, I wanted to reflect on how strange and beautiful it is to re-inhabit the visual space of the stories from a perspective centred on the female figure through the game between architecture, composition and characters. The photographs were taken in Barcelona on 35mm Ilford HP5 Plus 400 film.”

For me, photography is a way to connect with others and, at the same time, it is a space where I can be myself without limitations. My photographic projects have diverse inspirations where the worlds of art, fashion, cinema and visual poetry are mixed to bring the viewer closer to a dreamlike and fictional universe that allows me to explore different ideas that I think are important to transmit.”
