“Noir” is the second single track taking from Kritzkom last EP, Mer Agitée. Though her music is minimalistic in nature, Kritzkom is always incorporating interesting musical nuances over top the dark, pulsating beats of her tech-house foundations.
“The video to the track “Noir” (Kritzkom) presents an american stormy landscape, slowly strange lights appears in the picture to reveal a surreal second layer for the viewer. The fictional video is made out of footages the artist took while a trip through the USA and shows the places: Truth Or Consequences in New Mexico (USA) and Marfa, Texas (USA). Both places are carrying a mystery to a wide public. Truth Or Consequences became famous because of its extraordinary name and its strong storms. Marfa achieved special attention for the ‘Marfa’s lights’. Marfa’s lights is an unexplained phenomenon appearing regularly for more than 100 years. Time and space are softly blended in this video to create a visual unite consisting of two realities with a mystical and surreal atmosphere.”
