Last week, the international music crowd descended upon the sun-drenched concrete of Parc del Fòrum for Primavera Sound Barcelona. For those who live at the intersection of cutting-edge sound, raw subculture, and avant-garde lifestyle, there was only one place to be truly. Once again, KALTBLUT. was exclusively invited by CUPRA to experience the festival, and once again, the unconventional brand proved absolutely flawlessly why they are the ultimate tastemakers in music, lifestyle, and progressive automotive design.

This wasn’t just about sponsorship; it was a masterclass in shaping contemporary culture. At the centre of the experience was the brand-new, highly anticipated CUPRA Raval. Making its official festival debut right inside the VIP rooftop area of the CUPRA Pulse installation, this compact, fully electric urban hatchback is an absolute game-changer. Packed with a rebellious design ethos, the Raval brings serious hot-hatch energy to the EV space, boasting up to 226 horsepower, a massive 440 km range, and premium, immersive Sennheiser AMBEO sound tech built right into a stunning, sustainable vegan-leather cabin. It’s sleek, edgy, and engineered for the next generation of city drivers.
The car’s razor-sharp aesthetic felt right at home amidst Primavera’s stylish elite, who were busy customising garments with the iconic Pepa Salazar right alongside the vehicle.

For three days, from June 4 to 6, the CUPRA Pulse installation returned to the seafront to act as the literal, immersive electronic heartbeat of the festival. Offering twelve hours a day of open-air club hedonism where sound, light, and movement fused into a multi-sensory paradise, it gave festival-goers a space to lose themselves. While the lineup boasted heavyweights like The Avalanches, Rustie, and a curated closing takeover by Skrillex aka SONNY, it was the raw, unadulterated energy of CUPRA’s sound that stole the entire weekend.
Our absolute favourite set at the CUPRA Pulse stage belonged to Berlin local heroes Brutalismus 3000. Bringing their signature, aggressive, fast-paced neo-gabber and punk-infused techno to the Mediterranean shore, they tore the stage apart. It was a chaotic, brilliant, and beautifully loud moment that proved exactly why the Berlin underground is dominating the global stage right now. We loved every second of it.
The curation didn’t stop at the electronic heartbeat. Over at the main CUPRA Stage, the energy stayed relentless with future-forward live sets from Rusowsky, PinkPantheress, and Ralphie Choo, leading into massive, unforgettable closing sets each night by the likes of KI/KI and Peggy Gou.
Beyond the stages, the lifestyle experience reached its peak with the highly anticipated Follow the CUPRA x Nathy Peluso moment. We had the chance to see the superstar herself up close at Casa Cupra, bringing an unmatched level of fierce, magnetic pop-cultural energy to the weekend, perfectly encapsulating the brand’s ethos: bold, emotional, and entirely unapologetic.

CUPRA didn’t just invite us to a festival last weekend; they invited us into a fully realised vision of the future. Through heavy basslines, radical car design, and superstar synergy, they didn’t just track the pulse of culture; they dictated it.
