“I´m an international people and fashion photographer from Brazil based in Germany, where I have my studio for over ten years, and where I do several projects as a photographer, art director and producer, with clients around the world. I went back to Rio in 2022 after two years without visiting my hometown with my camera to capture the carioca lifestyle, as people who were born in Rio de Janeiro are called. “Garotos da Lapa” shows the old and traditional side of Rio de Janeiro, a place known as one of the cradles of samba and bohemia, the libertine essence of the Lapa neighbourhood, which eventually adopted an underground and rebellious aspect of society.”
