“Chlorine Puffs are a series of puffs with different prints obtained from a textile bleaching process. Pycnogonida in white on blue and circulatory system in orange on black. The textile research process began with two sock fabric samples. These early samples were randomly patterned and stained with edible coloring.
The first pattern, based on a marine spider species called Pycnogonida, is obtained by immersing the rolled fabric in de-colorant in a tube so that only the visible parts are faded.
The second stamp is an interpretation of the circulatory system. To generate this pattern, a mold was created with the selected design to spray the desired surface of the fa- bric with bleach.
In order to promote sustainable practices, both beanbags are filled with compressed recycled paper, so it can be removed the polystyrene balls from the product.”
