Dhruv Kapoor A/W 2022-23 – “Soul-Tech”

Reality is a flexible illusion, a constant creation. Mankind perceives and projects simultaneously. Soul Tech examines the advancement of soul science and technology – what was earlier unobservable is now dissolving and technology is now matching the vibration of this knowingness; that there is more to it than this 3-D reality construct. dhruvkapoor.com / www.instagram.com/dhruvkapoor

The feeling of ONENESS is key. We are all energy. All matter and psychological processes- thoughts, emotions, beliefs and attitudes are composed of energy. Functional copies of our brain will eventually leave their biological shells. These copies then live eternally in a digital heaven.

Earth, also known as AKWĀ makes one 360 degree trip around the galaxy every 25,920 years…
The complete cycle is known as a YUGA.
Two parts of ascending and two parts of descending consciousness.
This cyclic rise and fall of consciousness on earth has been going on since its creation. AWKĀ is now at the tail end.

Soul Tech, a growing subculture, devoid of a BEGINNING or an END. Its eternal nature comes to forefront with the advancement of technology and exploration of buried secrets of ancient civilizations. It explores our flexible reality- a complex network of events onto which we project sequences of the past, present and future.

The collection offers an eclectic juxtaposition of silhouette, color and handcrafted details- A combination of old and new. Poster print series, reminiscent of the 1970s, explore the capabilities of the human mind by diving within. Nature and science come together in geometric floral motifs and graphic landscapes, meticulously hand embroidered by skilled Indian artisans. Logo skin suits and tones of digital violet relate to the explosion of the metaverse, grounded by the dreadlock hats- significant of acquired wisdom over time

As we march into the light age, we discover new ways of relating to the worlds around us, our community and the world within us.
