“The fashion story maintains an artistic and cultural link with my roots. It carries the aestetics of social realism.
I was born in a communistic country Yugoslavia, that no longer exists and when I visited my ho- metown Dravograd for holidays, I noticed they started to change the town to look more modern. They are changing the old Yugoslavian signs with the new ones, and this caused big emotions in me. The old station, however, still remains the same, so I decided to do that story before it’s too late and everything looks different. On one photo you can notice the sign cakalnica, which means the waiting room, I found it in the garbage at the station.”
