“My name is Marie Lourier. I was born and raised in Moscow Russia. Have never imagined myself without photography, but gone deeply into art only 2,5 years ago. I’m a full time employed photographer and I also style almost all my shootings by myself. I’m based in Moscow now but I love to travel, meet new people and explore new locations. This time I travelled to Saint Petersburg in Russia. The reference for this shooting was dark aesthetic, and I decided to bring some more darkness with the makeup that reflects the mood of 80s. Make up artist Margarita is one of my favourite in Saint Petersburg. I love to work with her as she always understands me and brings my crazy ideas to life. I did some postproduction to make pictures more look like posters and I guess it worked out.”
