Faces U Should Know: Golo Euler

Golo Euler was born in 1982 in Starnberg and attended the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding! In 2011 he won the German Cinema New Talent Award as “Best Actor” for his role in “Kasimir and Karoline”. Golo is known for various theater plays and movies like “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, “The last pig” and “Fado”. He made headlines when he played in the awarded and for unknown reasons for us Germans holy German tv series “Tatort”. In 2017 he will appear in various tv and cinema roles, so watch out for him! I had no idea what I was doing. I couldn’t even tell why I was doing what I was doing. What was I thinking? To do whatever it was that I was doing… what was I doing? Dancing? Tumbling? Falling? Failing? Struggling. Against the question, against the fear. Fighting by not-knowing. By not having a clue as well as not giving a fuck. Constantly convincing myself to not give a fuck. Getting drunk from pretending to be. Don’t start thinking, just observe, witness, just be amazed of all the strange things that happen when you don’t know shit. I want to be a child again. I want to forget. Climb things. Get up there without knowing how to get down again. It’s cold. I wonder if I will be able to laugh about myself. I’m happy, I must laugh. I laugh, I must be happy.
