During the 97th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, which was held from the 7th to the 10th January 2020 in Florence, GEN-Y presented its new collection of backpacks and bags characterized by urban-minimal style, designed for the needs of contemporary professionals and entrepreneurs. www.instagram.com/gen_y_official / www.gen-y.it
Among these there was MO.BU, acronym for Mobility Business: an eclectic product, which combines the concept of backpack with that of suitcase to offer maximum functionality in short trips. MO.BU has been designed to be the ideal companion for business travel thanks to its particularity of keeping the private and professional world separate, with an intelligent internal division of spaces. This characteristic makes it ideal for reducing the luggage of business travellers, managing to summarize in a single product the practicality of a backpack and the capacity of a 48-hour suitcase. MO.BU is designed to eliminate compromises: 45 litres internal volume, dimensions approved by most airlines, hidden pockets, waterproof zippers, smart cases and internal sections designed to organize every type of technological device.
Together with MO.BU, other backpacks and bags with modular and hybrid designs were presented during Pitti Immagine Uomo 2020 which, thanks to the intelligent use of military buckles, fastening systems with adjustable tapes and modular compartments designed specifically for tech devices, make the products of the GEN-Y collection incredibly multifaceted and perfect for any occasion.
Geometric shapes, which enclose a functional design, represent the characteristic of the GEN-Y brand that takes inspiration from urban dynamism to design products that act as a junction point between functionality and expression of a strong and decisive character.
All GEN-Y products are designed and developed entirely in Italy using high-tech materials made by Lorenzi, a leading company in Italy in the production of microfibres and technical fabrics for products destined to last a long time. The synergy between Lorenzi and GEN-Y is summarized in the philosophy shared by both brands, “Long lasting materials, long lasting future”.
