MODALISBOA COMUNIDADE – Social isolation gave rise to an enormous need to feel the touch and the proximity between the bodies in a way never felt before. Gonçalo Peixoto’s Fall/Winter 2021/22 collection opens the door to the disco and transports us to some of the most nostalgic feelings of those times.

The desire for touch and freedom is wrapped in a vibrant and fun colour palette and makes us dance and sing our favourite songs. We are driven by a longing to go out and relive some of the best moments and stories that have always remained in our memories.
Gonçalo Peixoto is the founder of the homonymous womenswear brand. He started studying Fashion Design in 2012 in Guimarães and later graduated from ESAD, Escola Superior de Artes e Design, in Matosinhos.
Since the beginning of his studies, he has revealed to be a passionate young artist driven by his love for fashion and his need to create. His collections have drawn the attention of several highly-regarded fashion stores, as well as fashion magazines and other artists.
In September of 2017, he presented his first runway collection during London Fashion Week. In March 2018, he joined the official calendar of ModaLisboa – Lisboa Fashion Week, where he started to present his collections seasonally.
