Life can lead us down unforeseen paths, and that’s not always a bad thing. Sometimes, the path to our dreams is filled with twists and unexpected turns. hemlocke springs has captured the hearts of fans and fellow musicians alike. But it’s not just her music that’s infectious; it’s her unapologetic joy that sets her apart.

“I’m just gonna wake up, and live life.”

24-year-old pop sensation Naomi, born Isimeme Udu, has been captivating audiences worldwide with her magnetic personality and music that shines as brightly as her name suggests. Her journey to fame began with viral hit “gimme all ur luv,” in 2022 and has since led her to the brink of pop stardom. Her music? Much like her persona, is welcoming and approachable, with a touch of ’80s nostalgia that resonates with a broad range of listeners.

“If I can get a reaction, that’s what’s most important to me.“

Naomi’s introduction to the world of music came by chance: one of her tracks went viral on TikTok. Little did she know, her song would transcend the platform’s fleeting trends: capturing the attention of notable artists like Grimes, Toro Y Moi & Steve Lacy. Nowadays, she’s opening for CHAI at Pitchfork Music Festival Berlin, touring across Europe and heading to Australia for a series of headlining shows.

“I used to be very in my head. Now, I’m like what’s today going to bring? What’s going to happen next?”

The highly anticipated debut EP, “going…going…GONE!”, is a testament to her journey. Precluded by popular tracks like “girlfriend,” “pos,” and “sever the blight,” this EP features a collection of 7 songs that highlight her knack for creating heartfelt indie-pop bangers. Naomi’s music goes beyond mere entertainment; it serves as a thought-provoking and empowering force that encourages listeners to reflect on the world around them.

While hemlocke springs continues to gain recognition and influence, her voice is a refreshing take that brings both fun and substance to the world of pop music. Naomi’s story serves as a powerful reminder to us all: have fun, and don’t ever lose sight of that playful, carefree side of yourself.

“A dream collab? I’ve always wanted a rap collab… Doechii, Vince Staples, Tyler The Creator. I’ll put those names out there, and see what happens. And, if I had to choose between a sing-off with Toro Y Moi, or a dance-off with Steve Lacy? Toro, let’s sing Barbie Girl.”
