“In this series with Juliette, I wanted it to feel voyeuristic. I met Juliette on a shoot a couple of weeks prior and was drawn to her personality – She is smart, a feminist and has such a comfort and confidence in who she is. I wanted to photograph her in a way that felt very real and reflect some of the above. These images should feel like Juliette on a regular weekend morning relaxing in sunlight, then the studio shots turning to the night. This shoot is very much what I love in photography, it is unposed and relaxed and feels real. This series was photographed in my apartment and my studio studio in Melbourne Australia with regular collaborators Meggy Smith Stylist and Janice Wu HMU.”
