“I wanted to capture what has always amazed me since I’ve known Filip. The great difference between the bitchy and dramatic strength of his drag character and the deep sensitivity that emanates from him. By deconstructing the character artefact by artefact, I tried to find where the cohabitation between these two personalities was. His drag draws his dramatic accents from the exuberance of his poses and attitudes, like an old Hollywood actress, always ready for a scandal, just for the taste of it. While his fragility is all inner. His eyes are like an overflowing sea and his fragile way of holding a cigarette without noticing that it is consumed has moved me.”
