With her latest collection Ukrainian designer, Lilia Litkovskaya aimed to dive deep into the complexity of the human mind, interpreting all the inner strength we’re capable of into artistic energy. For LITKOVSKAYA, spirituality is an integral part of work that is able to bring inspiration and a closer understanding of human nature. The FW22 line is a song of immense love for life and all the hope one’s heart could hold. To express the idea that art and design are aimed to fit well into the lives of all people, the brand’s team became models for the FW22 lookbook, emphasising that the new capsule is created for all of us and representing the unity and strength of the Ukrainian people.
What LITKOVSKAYA explores is the universal values of humanity we all carry deep in our souls – the will to keep going, the individual yet strongly social world outlook, and the ability to care and share.
In terms of aesthetics, the fall-winter’22 collection by LITKOVSKAYA is an intersection between the East and the West, which brings together the western expressive passion and the eastern observational serenity. The colour scheme of the new line is modest and calming, while all the drama happens in lines, textures and silhouettes. The designer once again shows masterful craftsmanship when it comes to asymmetry and drapery, presenting tailored suits, dresses and outwear with an occasional splash of colour. Combining the flowing ivory silk and the oversized silhouettes, LITKOVSKAYA creates an anthem for the diversity of human characters, praising both feminine and masculine sides with timeless designs.
